Dear Colleagues,
Please join me to welcome our second offsite specialist clinic, Gleneagles Primo Surgical Centre, which further extends the specialist medical service network of the Gleneagles brand in Hong Kong. Strategically located in Central, the Centre is poised to provide excellent-quality services to patients from different parts of the city and help extend the reach of our brand.
Ensuring that we provide patients with safe and top-quality care is always our top priority, but as one of the healthcare providers in Hong Kong, it is also important that we connect and interact with our community. Earlier this month, we sponsored the Hong Kong International Horse Show to promote sports and sports health whilst taking the chance to introduce IHH Healthcare, our integrated healthcare network in Hong Kong as well as the service network of Parkway Shanghai to both local and overseas audience. Those of you who are active in sports, I hope you have had participated in the Standard Chartered Marathon on which we collaborated with Cancerinformation.com.hk Charity Foundation to form a running team to raise fund for cancer patient rehabilitation services. I thank our colleagues for their enthusiastic support in these activities which bring us closer to the different stakeholder groups in the community.
At the recent IHH Group CEO Global Town Hall, we were taken through the Group's development and transformation agenda and the key milestones attained across various markets in the past year. I am particularly proud to be able to send my support in person to our Senior Radiation Therapist Ryan who pitched his innovative idea of building a comprehensive healthcare support network for the elderly as one of the five shortlisted finalists in the IHH Ideacles Challenge. The Group is moving in the direction of change and transformation. For us in Hong Kong, we have also already started giving a re-think to our existing workflows, practices, service models and more, and exploring how we can leverage the use of innovative technologies, automation and AI to enhance the process, make your work easier, and bring better value for patients. There are bound to be challenges as we navigate the process, but I believe that this is also a journey that we all must take on if we are to stay ahead of the curve.
As stressed at the Town Hall, transformation also requires active participation from staff to make it work. If you are looking for opportunities to showcase your creativity and foresight in driving meaningful changes which could further elevate healthcare services to all, I encourage you to take part in the IHH Transformation Challenge. This presents a great opportunity for you to turn transformative ideas into reality. You also stand a chance to win funding to pilot your project and potentially drive impactful changes across IHH. If you are bubbling with ideas, let’s go for it!
Warm regards,
