Gleneagles has recently partnered with CTF Life to introduce an exclusive health management programme, offering a comprehensive suite of services including referrals and appointment scheduling, direct billing, one-stop cancer care services, and access to premium medical services with consultation and advanced medical facilities across our healthcare network.

Beyond our hospital and clinics, Gleneagles MediCentre in Admiralty and Parkway Shanghai Hospital have commenced a collaboration with Prudential in the area of cross-border direct billing service. The partnership provides patients with streamlined medical services, including direct billing service, priority appointment bookings, and room arrangements at the two facilities.

Earlier on, a special celebration for the the opening of our first ambulatory care centre in Hong Kong, Gleneagles MediCentre, was hosted for our staff and doctors.
The new Gleneagles MediCentre elevates patient experience by integrating hospital-standard patient care and safety with smart, human-centric technologies, offering services from oncology specialist consultations, chemotherapy, and endoscopic procedures to minor surgeries and aesthetic medicine.

Parkway MediCentre Xintiandi Opens
|
|
|
On 18 November, Parkway Shanghai, part of IHH Healthcare North Asia, officially launched Parkway MediCentre Xintiandi — a 7,000-sqm facility offering 20+ specialties across six integrated centres. Supported by an international team of doctors from 14 countries and direct billing with over 60 insurers, the MediCentre brings world-class care closer to communities and complements Parkway Shanghai Hospital and our wider service network in Shanghai for seamless referrals.
The opening ceremony was graced by government officials, consulates and chambers of commerce, business partners, and IHH senior leaders, underscoring IHH’s commitment to implementing its “out-of-hospital” care model and delivering exceptional healthcare where people live and work.

Fall Prevention Awareness Week

The “Fall Prevention Awareness Week” was staged earlier featuring an array of educational talks, interactive games, and hands-on activities designed to raise awareness and promote best practices in fall prevention among patients, carers, and staff. During the kick-off ceremony, the GHK Safety Spot Awards were presented to outstanding team members in recognition of their exceptional achievement in maintaining a zero-fall rate. Thank you for your active participation throughout the week. Together, we remain steadfast in maintaining a safe and fall-free environment at Gleneagles!

To combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and protect public health, the World AMR Awareness Week is commemorated annually from 18 to 24 November. Themed “Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future” this year, the initiative underscores the urgent need to take bold, united action to address AMR. This year, Gleneagles launched a lively video and an online quiz to raise staff’s awareness of the importance of using antimicrobials responsibly.

A touch of glamour in everyday work
Looking sharp and standing tall. Colleagues were trained ready to bring their best selves to work as they picked up quick, practical tips on grooming and poise whilst discovering how confident posture and polished presentation can make daily interactions smoother, more impactful, and more professional at the posture and styling workshop.

The Organ Donation Day brought meaningful engagement to Gleneagles, featuring game booths and educational talks where staff and visitors learned about the life-saving impact of organ donation. Many also registered their wishes to donate organs after death, turning awareness into action.

Pressure Injury Prevention Day Prevention is better than cure. Gleneagles rolled out the Pressure Injury Prevention Day with lively booths and practical tips, empowering staff to champion prevention strategies and enhance patient care on pressure injury prevention.
