Dear Colleagues,
Although Hong Kong is still recording COVID-19 variant cases in the recent month, we have seen a continuously rising demand for our various services amid the stable situation locally. With your hard work and devotion, GHK has achieved many record highs in patient volume in the past few months. My deepest appreciation to all of you! Meanwhile, to enable us to grow further while maintaining a high standard of care, we have been actively recruiting talent for different departments, especially Nursing. To that end, I invite you to recommend to us suitable and quality candidates whom you believe would help us grow into an even stronger team. Our Referral Incentive Scheme has been extended till the end of the year. I look forward to welcoming more new recruits who have a passion to deliver the best care for patients!
Every so often our various departments receive compliments and thank-you notes from our patients. Impressed by our hospital environment and services, many of our patients expressed their special appreciation for our colleagues’ thoughtful and personal care to them, saying that they would choose us again for their future healthcare needs. It is particularly encouraging to know that our patients told us that they would be happy to recommend us to their family and friends! I hope you are as proud as I am that the positive word-of-mouth generated from the heartwarming experiences is helping GHK build good reputation and patients’ trust in us.
In addition to providing excellent healthcare services and playing an active role in training and developing healthcare professionals in Hong Kong, we strive to extend our love and care to our wider society. We have recently launched the inaugural “GHK 20-second Charity Fundraising Challenge”, in which you are invited to take a challenge from the various options. Simply film yourself completing the selected challenge with a mobile phone, and GHK will make a donation to the Children’s Cancer Foundation for you. As we immerse ourselves in the Olympic fever, let’s get moving and help the sick children who need our support!
The steadily rising COVID-19 vaccination rate in Hong Kong and sustained zero local infections show us that the vaccines are working to protect us. With the vaccination service still conveniently available, I encourage that you and your family members and friends get the jabs as early as possible. Meanwhile, although overseas traveling is still much restricted, I hope that you will still be able to enjoy the summer break with your family locally!
