Chinese New Year Greetings

 
Thanks to the unrelenting efforts of all our staff, we have most recently achieved another major milestone - completing our initial licensing inspection. Different departments are now actively following up with the feedback from the authority, ensuring that we are set to deliver excellent, seamless care to patients in March.
 
Amid our busy schedules, I am sure that many of us are looking forward to welcoming the Year of the Rooster which is just round the corner. Roosters are known for their courageous, assertive and determined personalities which make them great achievers. At GHK, we are blessed with having a great team of achievers who has come a long way in bringing us to where we are now.
 
According the Chinese zodiac, the Year of the Rooster is said to be one that would infuse more enthusiasm and energy into our activities. May this auspicious year bring prosperity and new hopes for everyone.

 Management site tour
 
As we enter the last couple of months before our scheduled soft opening, a hospital tour was conducted for Dr Tan See Leng, Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Parkway Pantai, Mr Tsang Yam Pui, Chief Executive Officer of NWS Holdings Limited, Professor Gabriel Leung, Dean of Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine of The University of Hong Kong and other GHK Board members, on 6 January 2017.
 





 
Ramping up for inspection
 
Many departments started the year of 2017 with moving to the hospital and preparing for the imminent licensing inspection. Let’s take a look at some of their initial setups.
 
A sizzling hot Christmas at GHK
 
Over 400 colleagues from various departments celebrated Christmas together at a barbecue activity in Siu Lam.

Joined by our Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lee Cheow Seng, our Christmas choir performed a lovely round-two during the activity, further to their fund-raising performance in mid-December.

On top of the good food and laughter, the barbecue also saw a mini prize presentation to the three staff who had referred the highest number of doctors to GHK for credentialling under the Visiting Consultant Engagement Campaign.
