Dear Colleagues,
September has continued to be a busy month for us as different teams have been going full steam with their projects. I would especially like to acknowledge teams who remained steadfast and professional during the recent Super Typhoon Ragasa. Your thorough preparations and coordination ensured we could uphold our quality and seamless care to our patients throughout the storm.
Earlier this month, our IHH North Asia teams from Hong Kong and Shanghai gathered at Marina Bay in Singapore, for the spirited IHH Healthcare × Singapore Sea Regatta. Our Hong Kong team, comprising colleagues from different departments and doctors, demonstrated incredible teamwork and resilience, earning a well-deserved third place. The event brought together teams from across the Group, united by our shared belief in “Care. For Good.” and our commitment to holistic well-being. It was a powerful reminder that when we paddle in sync toward a common goal, we can create meaningful impact for the communities we serve.
Looking ahead to October, we are excited to host the IHH Healthcare Quality Summit in Hong Kong for the first time, alongside the opening of our new Gleneagles MediCentre in Admiralty. This centre marks an important milestone in our expansion strategy, offering oncology consultation, chemotherapy, endoscopy, minor surgery, plastic surgery and medical aesthetic services. Equipped with digital and AI-assisted technologies, the centre will not only enhance operational efficiency, but also set a new benchmark of seamless and exceptional patient experience. The MediCentre will also further empower us to strengthen the reach and the strength of our service network while offering patients more care options.
As flu season approaches, our annual vaccination programme is now underway. Dr Angus Yuen and I have already received our shots, and we encourage everyone to get vaccinated early to protect yourselves and your loved ones.
Warm regards,
