Dear Colleagues,
2025 has been a year of remarkable progress and milestones for Gleneagles, witnessing a number of developments in the areas of clinical excellence, medical innovation, training, and patient experience. One of our most significant breakthroughs was the introduction of novel cancer treatment Histotripsy. We were proud to be Asia’s first private hospital to offer this service, and currently as a regional training centre, we are training doctors on Histotripsy from different parts of the world, further cementing our leadership position in clinical innovation. In parallel, we have been driving medical innovation through our AI Lab, collaborating with healthcare start-ups to apply artificial intelligence in health monitoring, diagnostics, and clinical workflows.
We also celebrated the official opening of our Gleneagles MediCentre which was a key step in implementing IHH Healthcare’s strategic direction to adopt out-of-hospital care model. This key milestone was complemented by the development of our paediatric subspecialties when we are looking to become one of the hospitals that offers the most comprehensive paediatric care in Hong Kong. In addition, through our various means to expand our reach to serve more non-locals, we continued to beef up our International Patient Services to provide one-stop support and further build our reputation for clinical and service excellence in the region. Our care for patients was also made more holistic with the launch of the spiritual support service Gleneagles Oasis through which our staff take care of the spiritual needs of our patients as well as staff in a personalised manner.
Looking ahead, as I shared at the recent Town Hall meeting, we are fully committed to advancing healthcare transformation aligning with IHH 2030 strategy, with key initiatives set for each of the seven focus areas including Clinical Excellence, Patient Experience, New Care Models, Operational Excellence, Payor and Regulator, Employee & Doctor Value Proposition, and IT, Data & AI to accelerate our strategic growth priorities. Your continued support will be vital as we strive to become Hong Kong’s most trusted healthcare provider, recognised as the employer and partner of choice.
As we step into 2026, our priorities remain clear - advancing innovation and digitalisation, growing specialty and subspecialty capabilities, and deepening strategic partnerships to deliver care that combines safety, efficiency, and personalisation. I am truly grateful for having you with us on this growth journey and look forward to continuing to create more exciting milestones with you.
May I wish you all a healthy and fulfilling New Year!
Warm regards,

Gleneagles Hong Kong is set to become Hong Kong’s first healthcare network to offer personalised longevity services powered by the AI-driven Omni-Health platform Longevity.Omics, developed by Quantum Life.
This innovative programme analyses genomic, epigenetic, and clinical health data to deliver deeper health insights and tailored preventive care. Through a simple blood test, patients receive comprehensive health risk screening and an assessment of biological and organ age, enabling early intervention and better outcomes. Integrated with patients’ health screening data at Gleneagles, the reports will be interpreted by our doctors.

Available from Q1 2026 at Gleneagles Medical Clinic Central and Gleneagles Healthcare Wong Chuk Hang as well as via Gleneagles TeleCare, this service pioneers a new era in preventive medicine.

Advancing healthcare development in the Greater Bay Area

At a forum hosted by the Greater Bay Area Medical Professional Development Association which brought together leaders in the healthcare ecosystem to explore emerging opportunities in the evolving healthcare and economic landscape, our CEO Dr Kenneth Tsang highlighted Hong Kong’s role as a gateway for Mainland medical institutions and global markets, and the importance of balancing private healthcare growth with public health priorities.
|
In a bid to make healthcare more accessible and seamless across the Greater Bay Area, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong also signed at the forum a collaboration agreement with YYT Technology Hub Limited to drive cross-border healthcare innovation in the realms of high-end client servicing, digital Renminbi payment for medical services, and secure international medical data applications.

Our last Town Hall meeting of the year brought together over 140 colleagues to hear about Gleneagles Hong Kong’s plan in pushing ahead with the Group-wide Transformation journey. Our CEO Dr Kenneth Tsang and the respective project owners provided an overview of some of the key focus areas for Hong Kong aimed at elevating performance in patient experience, clinical and operational excellence, and payor and regulator. Some of the highlights included the recent launch of patient kiosks, real-time NPS pilot, expansion of paediatric subspecialties, Project Helix for procurement, and case management model to foster payor relations.
The meeting also celebrated the presentation of awards to our Service Champions and Hand Hygiene Compliance Award winners, commending their outstanding commitment to quality care and service excellence.

Care for our community through blood donation

Gleneagles stands in solidarity with those affected by the Tai Po fire tragedy and remains committed to supporting our community during this challenging time. Early this month, a blood donation day was organised at our hospital where colleagues came together in a meaningful show of care. We extend our sincere appreciation to all staff who participated in it and to our doctors and nurses who volunteered at government shelters.
