Dear Colleagues,
Despite we are only one month into the new year, our energetic teams are already fully engaged, pushing ahead with fresh ideas and thoughts on how we may further elevate our services and achieve more growth.
We started the year with several new services. Many of you may have noticed that the freshly-reconfigured Clinic A on the G/F of Tower A came into service last week. By strategically integrating Orthopaedics, Neurology & Neurosurgery, ENT and Ophthalmology services, we are poised to provide patients with a more comprehensive and seamless care experience, while also making work processes smoother for our colleagues. At the same time, we are further expanding across the continuum of care with the launch of Gleneagles PharmaHome, our online pharmacy platform through which patients and the public can enjoy a more convenient and accessible way to purchase quality medications, home-use medical devices and supplements.
Earlier, I was delighted to join you in witnessing the start of a new chapter of “Uniquely Yours”, and to welcome three beloved “Gleneagles Buddies” — EchoTree, Bravo and Trusky. They embody our commitment to all of you. I truly believe that every voice deserves to be heard, every effort deserves recognition, and every talent deserves to be seen. The “Gleneagles Buddies” are now part of our hospital lobby, and I very much hope this appreciative and trusting culture will continue to strengthen the bonds of our Gleneagles family.
This month also marks the first anniversary of Gleneagles Oasis, our spiritual support service. It is a vivid representation of what the UY spirit embraces, reminding us that no need is ever too small to be cared for. My heartfelt thanks go to the teams that have provided support to patients, families and colleagues in their emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing over the past year. I also thank the team for their thoughtful planning and delivery of the Gleneagles Oasis Week.
Against the backdrop of rapidly-evolving healthcare and patients’ needs, our continuous drive to adopt data, AI and automation will remain central to how we optimise workflows, elevate patient experience, and free up more time for our colleagues to focus on caring for patients. The pilot launch of patient self-service kiosks marks an important step forward on this journey. This commitment to innovation and continuous improvement will stay high on our agenda in 2026 and beyond, as we work together to build a smarter Gleneagles that delivers more personalised care for all.
Warm regards,

A new chapter of “Uniquely Yours” has begun. To mark this meaningful milestone in strengthening our UY spirit, a relaunch ceremony was held with the debut of three enlarged “Gleneagles Buddies”: EchoTree, Bravo, and Trusky, respectively symbolising understanding your needs, appreciating your hard work, and trusting your capabilities. These large Buddies are now on display at the hospital lobby for all to enjoy.

The celebration continued with the premiere of a short animation, narrated by our CEO Dr Kenneth Tsang, sharing the essence and inspiration behind the initiative. Watch the video HERE.

Gleneagles is proud to support the Sports Association for the Physically Disabled of Hong Kong, China (HKSAPD) through the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon Charity Programme 2026. As part of this initiative, Gleneagles sponsored a team of staff runners who took part in the 10km individual (non‑challenge) event, contributing to the development of sports for persons with disabilities, supporting athletes in preparing for international competitions.
