Dear Colleagues,
Just earlier this month we launched our 5th anniversary-themed campaign “Uniquely yours” to celebrate the excellent care we have been providing in our first five years and the direction we embrace in growing our services and reputation. Activities on the campaign will be staged in the coming months, and I invite you all to be part of this journey of building an even more distinctive character for our GHK.
I hope you have had fun joining in some of the many activities hosted during the Service Week themed "We Will Find A Way!”. Much more than a slogan, the theme conveys the spirit that should live in every one of us as a care provider. Our great achievement in customer service has been evident, stepping into our sixth year, we are looking to take our service quality to the next level and your active support is critical to helping GHK achieve this.
We have reached another great milestone in the development of our cancer services with the recent arrival of the brand-new Halcyon Elite radiotherapy system. The cutting-edge system is designed to offer high-precision treatment in less time and enhanced patient comfort and safety. With streamlined system workflows and improved operational efficiency, our therapists will be able to spend more time on taking care of patients and addressing their needs.
I have always wanted to create a conducive working environment in which all of you would enjoy working together in the GHK family. We have launched a new internal communications initiative “Speak Your Mind” through which I would do my best to address any questions, concerns or difficulties you may have at GHK via regular videos. Suggestions or views are welcome too! So if you have anything in mind, please fire away!
We should all be proud that despite the challenging times we have been through, GHK has attained many plausible achievements which were made possible with your dedication. Following the distribution of discretionary bonus in January, the second and third portions of the loyalty bonus have also been issued to eligible staff this month as a token of our appreciation for your contribution. GHK aspires to develop itself into one of the best healthcare providers in Hong Kong, to this end, we are looking to introduce a new staff incentive such that we may have the privilege to build an even stronger team with you to help GHK realise other longer-term goals. I hope to share more details with you about the incentive next month.
As the epidemic has shown promising signs of stabilising, I would like to send my heartfelt appreciation for your hard work in fighting COVID-19 in the past few months. The fierce fifth wave has taught us a lesson on the need to stay vigilant. Let us all continue to protect ourselves and our loved ones, and emerge from this wave with greater resilience.
